At present, China's automotive parts industry is in a transitional stage, driven by the trend of electrification, intelligence, networking, and lightweighting. The industry as a whole is showing a development trend of gradual expansion in scale, rapid technological iteration, and continuous optimization of industrial structure. With the rapid rise of the new energy vehicle market and the accelerated penetration of intelligent networking technology, the automotive parts industry is undergoing an important transformation from traditional manufacturing of single products to intelligent manufacturing and system solutions.

In terms of market size, driven by the release of demand for new energy vehicle manufacturing, the increase in demand for high value-added products, and the rapid growth in demand for components in emerging fields such as new energy and intelligence, the revenue scale of China's automotive parts industry continues to grow. According to analysis data from the China Business Industry Research Institute, industry revenue has increased from approximately 4.20 trillion yuan in 2022 to approximately 4.62 trillion yuan in 2024, and is expected to further increase to 4.78 trillion yuan in 2025.

In terms of industrial clusters, data from China Research Network shows that the automotive parts industry has formed six major industrial clusters: the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing Tianjin Hebei Bohai Rim, Central China, Southwest China, and Northeast China, contributing more than 80% of the country's parts output value. The Yangtze River Delta leads with a 37% share, and the regional distribution of industries is gradually expanding to the central and western regions.

In terms of enterprise ecological structure, according to the statistics white paper of Qichacha, there are nearly 800000 related enterprises in China, showing a "pyramid" distribution characteristic; At the top are 739 listed companies, leading the industry upgrade. The backbone includes more than 10000 specialized, refined, and new "little giant" enterprises and high-tech enterprises. The foundation layer has more than 700000 supporting enterprises, forming a complete industrial chain ecosystem. Over 90% of the enterprises are small and micro enterprises with registered capital of less than 10 million yuan.
